As of August 14, 2021, Spalding County GA has a 10 year suicide rate 19% higher than the state average. In the most recent year of record the rate was 100% higher with a loss every 19 days. Families are hurting, First Responders that have been on scene are overwhelmed. Team Griffin can help!
Through your financial support of this effort AFM seeks to make the Intervene Challenge available to every member of Public Safety in Spalding County, GA and to as many churches, schools, and other organizations as possible. Our five year goal is to train 1 in 10 Spalding County residents to reach the 1 in 10 that have thoughts of suicide each year. With a 100% commitment of Team Griffin and an individual commitment of $30 a month or more we will reach our goal. Together we will turn the tide on suicide in Griffin, Georgia!
